Scope of these terms

These terms govern use of this website and the installer-partner enquiries made through it. They are not the data-sharing agreement. The data-sharing agreement is a separate signed document issued to accepted partners, and it is that document which governs how introductions are made, used and retained.

Energy Introductions operates the enquiry engine behind an independent consumer grants platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of any government department, publicly owned company or scheme administrator. Scheme names appear on this site descriptively, so that installers can see which rules an enquiry was qualified against.

What we provide

We make introductions between a homeowner and a single accredited installer, at the homeowner's request. The homeowner completes a qualification on our consumer grants platform and ticks a specific, separate box asking to be introduced to an installer. We do not operate a marketplace, we do not resell or syndicate enquiries, and an introduction released to one partner is never released to another.

Each introduction carries the evidence behind it: the consent version, the timestamp, the page the homeowner was on, and the purposes they agreed to.

Partner obligations

Partners must:

• hold current accreditation appropriate to the work, and keep it current
• be registered with the Information Commissioner's Office
• sign the data-sharing agreement before any introduction is released
• contact the homeowner promptly and appropriately, and honour any request to stop
• never resell, syndicate, or otherwise pass an introduction to a third party

Volumes and availability

Weekly volume figures published on this site are indicative and are not guaranteed. They describe what the feed has produced recently, not a commitment for any future week. Availability is limited by coverage area and by the number of partners already taking a feed in that area.

Rates

Rates are on application and are agreed in writing before any introduction is released. No rates are published on this website.

Replacement

Where a telephone number supplied with an introduction is dead, disconnected or wrong, and this is reported within ten working days, we replace the introduction. We do not replace an introduction because the homeowner chose a different quote, changed their mind, or did not proceed.

Accreditation marks

MCS, Gas Safe, OFTEC, TrustMark, PAS 2030, NICEIC and NAPIT are referenced on this site as standards we require of partners. They are not endorsements of Energy Introductions, and nothing on this site should be read as a claim of certification, approval or affiliation.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page. Where a signed data-sharing agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement takes precedence.
